Riccardo Lo Faro
Riccardo is a journalist, biographer, and ghostwriter based in New York. He has clients in the US, Europe, and other parts of the world. He was born in Rome and has studied at both Italian and American universities. Riccardo has worked in various countries, including Australia with Sea World Australia, South Africa with Ladbroke PLC - Hilton Hotels International, and Italy with Veio Country Club of Roma and Hotel Mirage in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
He was the New York correspondent for the international culture magazine 'NewYorkCityVenezia' (currently Atlantis), which is published in the US and Italy. The magazine is also distributed on Delta Airlines flights between Venice and New York City. Since 2004, Riccardo has been the editor-in-chief of "Convivial Spirit," the official publication of the New York Delegation of Accademia Italiana della Cucina. This institution is a cultural organization of the Italian government with delegations in all of Italy's regions and major foreign cities.
As a writer and journalist, he is a member of the United States Department of State's F. Press Center, a member of the Los Angeles Press Club, and a member of the Italian Association of Journalists. He is the author of books, memorials, articles, and other editorial and web content, working mostly anonymously in the employ of private clients and companies while maintaining various collaborations with journalistic and cultural titles.
His remarkable achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the ANPS International Award from the Italian State Police - New York and New Jersey Delegation, presented to him at the United Nations in New York for his outstanding contributions to the Information Division.
In 2011, he co-founded the PrimiDieci Society and the internationally renowned PrimiDieci Awards in the United States, alongside Alessia Pertosa. These initiatives have now become part of the non-profit organization WLPO, The World's Leading Personalities Organization. Through PrimiDieci, he has spearheaded a range of cultural, editorial, and event-focused endeavors, including the PrimiDieci-Books and the prestigious PrimiDieci Awards & Gala events held in the USA and UK.
Riccardo has authored over 60 books, encompassing a wide range of genres such as biographies, collections of short stories, and e-books. As a ghostwriter, Riccardo has published numerous books anonymously spanning different genres, including biographies, memoirs, and fantasy stories. Riccardo, a father of three, currently divides his time between New York, Los Angeles, and Italy for his assignments as a biographer, ghostwriter, and journalist. Additionally, he is the founder and president of the New York-based charitable organization WLPO, which has recently assimilated the PrimiDieci Society.
